Coober Pedy solid opal ring

This one of a kind handmade Coober Pedy crystal opal ring was cut and set by hand in my small workshop in Clunes Australia. The opal was sourced from Australian miners and most of the silver used was recycled from jewellery I found metal detecting. This is a unique piece of Australian made jewellery. Dark body tone, this opal has a beautiful bright broad flash of yellow-green on one half and red-orange-purple on the other half running the opposite direction, going green in low light settings. The camera doesn't do this opal justice, it has absolutely amazing play and the colour stands out even in low light. approx. 9mmx8.5mmx3.5mm. Size 7/O
